The region around Valle de Bravo and its beautiful lake is one of the most visited in the Central Highlands of Mexico. The nickname "Mexican Switzerland" is no exaggeration.

The place is only a two hour drive from Mexico City and a popular weekend destination for Mexicans and visitors from abroad. Boutique hotels, nice pensions and great resorts add to the well-being of the guests.

Valle de Bravo is one of Mexico's "pueblos magicos", magic villages, which are determined by their colonial character. Many coffee shops and restaurants invite guests to linger. On the lake guests are invited to waterski or to enjoy a boat tour.

Valle de Bravo is a well-known paradise for mountainbikers. There are guided tours and bikes to borrow.

Or how about a special kick? A tandem paraglider flight costs about 100 Euros.

Between December and March the monarch butterflies can be observed. They come from Canada to spend the winter in the Santuario, about 30 minutes from Valle de Bravo.
