MEXIcO'S VIRGIN OF GUADALUPE
The 12th of December is the most important Catholic holiday in Mexico. Thousands of pilgrims from all Mexican states flock each year to the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico City. By the time they reach this place of pilgrimage, they have usually spent days of marching accompanied by prayers to the Virgin.
