The Convent Route leads through Morelos and Puebla, the most important historic regions of Mexico.  The area, where the first convents were founded in colonial times, lies between 1600 and  2000 meters above sea level. Since it belongs to the moderate climate zones it offers the perfect conditions for a bicycle ride. The 4-day long tour starts in Tepoztlán, 60 km south of Mexico City  and ends near Puebla in Cholula.

The tour will lead you through wonderful landscapes with a beautiful view of Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl, both more than 5000 meters high and over quiet country streets, through fields and meadows. Mextrotter will provide you with comfortable allround bikes.

This cycling tour in Mexico is the perfect program before a group tour, a rental car trip or a bus tour.
