Small groups and small prices!
Small group tours offer many benefits. Due to the limited group size of 14 participants maximum, the guide can offer more personal attention to the travelers. There is no need to visit pre-booked standard restaurants where mass-tourists usually go and receive standard lunches: with a small group it is possible to try the Mexican delicacies at nicer and more exclusive restaurants.
During visits to archaeological sites and museums, the guide will be able to give a more extended explanation and have more time to answer questions. This is often not possible in large groups.
Another advantage is that a small group takes less time to check-in when arriving to a hotel. With a group that needs 25 rooms it can be quite a while before you can go to your room.
Last but not least, traveling in a minivan (Mercedes Sprinter) offers a time advantage compared to a large bus, since it saves about 30 minutes per day. This allows you to spend more time at the sites and/or have more free time.
